Many activity programs came to a halt when the pandemic hit. We have been putting extra precautions in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and continue to work hard to protect our residents. Lack of visitors and social distancing may have affected Hayes’ daily life, but our team continues brainstorming creative ways for our residents to still have fun and stay safe.

With Summer and warm weather, we are encouraging residents to safely venture outside. Daily walks to soak up vitamin D and ordering take out to support local restaurants, like Carbone’s and Cecil’s Deli, are some of our favorites!

Aside from excursions outdoors, we have recently had some residents get involved with planting! We’re anxiously watching the four plants we have taking root. It’s so fun to watch as they grow and mature. It’s also fun to see our resident’s happy faces as the participate in this process. We invite you to follow along in our monthly blogs!

Here they are at Day 1!

At Hayes, we are dedicated to continually offering creative ways for our residents to grow all while maintaining appropriate social distancing to keep everyone safe.
